Hostel |
When not in use for wilderness adventure groups, the bunkhouse is available as a
wilderness hostel for folks visiting the area. Custom-made twin bunkbeds (dormitory
style) with linens, blankets, pillows, and electric mattress pads are provided. Separate
cabins are available to house men and women. The cabins have air conditioning in the
summer and woodstove heat in colder months. A fully equipped kitchen is available
to cook your own meals. The shower house has four modern showers with private
dressing rooms and plenty of hot water. There are four outhouses located along a trail
behind the cabins. Remember, this is rural Appalachia and this is a wilderness hostel!
